Symptoms
On Oracle Linux 6, if / root File System installed on iscsi LUN, which is typical setup on Bare Metal shape of OCI, kdump service fails to start with below error:
# service kdump start
No kdump initial ramdisk found. [WARNING]
Rebuilding /boot/initrd-4.1.12-124.20.3.el6uek.x86_64kdump.img
iscsiadm: No records found
Unable to find iscsi record for /sys/devices/platform/host0/session1/target0:0:0/0:0:0:1
Failed to run mkdumprd
