Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Deactivated Partner Contact still appear when search in Owner field in Opportunity page.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Like in popup search, deleted partner contact does not appear, same way it should not appear in most recent list as well

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

-- Edit partner > go to Partner Contacts subtab > search for XXPARTNER > can see contact , but there is no associated user account
-- Remove / delete this contact row from Partner Contacts ,
-- save the changes
-- now go to Navigator > Tools > Scheduled Processes > run processes
 Synchronize Person Records
 Send Pending LDAP Requests
 Retrieve Latest LDAP Requests
-- now logout and relogin as same user
-- go to Opportunities > Create or edit existing opportunity > go to Owner field >
click on drop down > choose and click on Search >
in popup - give first name = XX and search , no results seen
-- But strangely, we see name still appearing in MRU list like in

Opportunities > Create or edit existing opportunity > go to Owner field >
start typing XX, recent values show this record,
and allows user to successfully set as owner
and even user can successfully save opportunity record with this inactive contact as owner;

-- but when we click on this Owner link, blank popup appears
