Symptoms

Bulk Edit option throws error when editing a Business Process (BP) record.

ERROR

"The system could not process your request"

LOG FILE

The following excerpt may be seen in the Unifier log files:

java.lang.Exception: Fails validation rule : ...<rule details>...
[root] java.lang.Exception: Fails validation rule : ...<rule details>...

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

  1. Login into Unifier
  2. Open a Business Process (BP) record and update with bulk edit.
  3. Error 'The system could not process your request'
