Error In DB Adapter When Importing A Database Table For Merge Operation (Doc ID 2621739.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Integration-OIC - Version 18.2.5 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When importing a table using the Database Adapter endpoint for a merge (insert or update) operation, there isn't an option to define the Primary key.

This contradicts the current 'What You See on the Manage Tables Page' section of the Database Adapter documentation, located at:

  https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/paas/integration-cloud-service/icssb/trigger-polling-page.html#GUID-243ACDEA-91FA-4B1E-8643-33B42C4AF4F6

According to the documentation, the Primary Key field can be defined in the endpoint using the displayed chart that:

"Appears when you select tables without a primary key defined. Select the virtual primary key for the table."
