Symptoms

When attempting to manually reset the password for a user account (in cloud admin), error occurs:

ERROR
Manually Resetting Password Operation failed for User : <USERNAME> The password change operation failed. IAM-3010067:Password reset failed because the user with LDAP DN cn=FIRST LAST,cn=Users,dc=int,dc=oracleindustry,dc=com does not exist in the directory.:cn=USERNAME,cn=Users,dc=int,dc=oracleindustry,dc=com

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Log into Cloud admin utility.
  2. Select user and the gear icon - choose reset password.
  3. Select "manually change the password"
  4. Enter new password
  5. Error appears.
