Understanding the Difference between Conversation Analytics Totals and Intent Resolution (Doc ID 2622860.1)

Analytics result numbers appear to be inconsistent:

Reviewing data from earlier periods for a Skill, there is a total of 6,6K conversations. But in intents graph it only shows intent resolution for about 2K conversations.

Why is there a difference of 4.6K conversations if "unresolvedIntent" appears in the graph and the skill does not have other intents?
