How To Reconcile From ERP To WMS? (Doc ID 2624580.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 14, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Warehouse Management Enterprise Edition Cloud Service - Version 19.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Customer passes data from WMSCS to ERP using interface files to keep the two systems synchronized.

Daily the ERP side runs a "backorder" report which shows discrepancies between WMS and ERP. This is a list of orders (data) that are not in sync from go live date to present day.

Usually this report is 0-15 transactions. It provides purchase order number, sales order number and date.

The WMS user reviews the purchase order (fields: shipped to received quantities), then tries to confirm the Inventory History Extract files for this purchase order was created.

User goes to screen Output interface, searches on data range and content = purchase order number.
This is very slow and often will time out with 504 error or returns: no file found.

Provide suggestions how to reconcile from ERP to WMS that is more efficient than the searching output interface files.
