When attempting to run the getActiveCustomerProfile webservice the following error occurs.

The record for Account Number does not exist.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Access
2. Retrieve the details related to the webservice > compile the payload
3. Run the webservice payload

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot run the payload, therefor cannot review the details of the customers.
