Unable to Edit Line Item in JET UI when Validation Rule is Active (Doc ID 2627355.1)

Symptoms

When using JET UI, attempting to edit a line item using the pencil icon will fail if a Validation rule has been triggered. No errors show on the page or in the bm.log, but clicking the button appears to have no effect.
