Symptoms

On : 11.13.19.07.0 version, Global Human Resources

Approval process in documents of record



ERROR
-----------------------

1. Transaction is failed with below error in logs:
BusinessFault : {http://xmlns.oracle.com/apps/hcm/employment/core/transactionApprovalService/}ServiceException. Client received SOAP Fault from server : JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: java.lang.NumberFormatException, msg=For input string: "": For input string: ""

2. When user clicks on Withdraw option system throws the following error:
JBO-29000:Unexpected exception caught: oracle.bpel.services.workflow.WorkflowException, msg=Invalid action on workflow or user does not have privilege to perform this action. Action Withdraw on task 96718cc0-9ab8-483d-90d8-69cf73259c3f cannot be performed by .... Make sure that the action is valid with respect to the current state of the task or ensure that the user has privilege to perform this action on the workflow task.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. The approval only directs to itself, notifications are not generated
2. User is trying to Withdrawn Document Records transaction
3. Application is throwing error message:
JBO-29000:Unexpected exception caught: oracle.bpel.services.workflow.WorkflowException, msg=Invalid action on workflow or user does not have privilege to perform this action. Action Withdraw on task 96718cc0-9ab8-483d-90d8-69cf73259c3f cannot be performed by ... Make sure that the action is valid with respect to the current state of the task or ensure that the user has privilege to perform this action on the workflow task.
