Goal

"If there are future changes in any of the employee's record and if any field is changed backdated then the value for this backdated field will end with the start date of future change record. Ideally the changes made to this field should continue and not end date with the next record start date.

Example:
1. An employee's record is created on 01-Jan-2019 with hired as 01-Jan-2019, For Business Unit "A" and Grade "2" and Job "Consultant"
2. The employee's record is updated on 01-Nov-2019 with the effective date as 01-Nov-2019. The changes made is Business Unit "B".
3. Employees record is updated on 15-Nov-2019 with the effective date as 01-05-2019. The changes made is Grade "1".

4. In the above example, a grade record is inserted in the middle of two records therefore as per current behavior the grade will be updated as of effective date 01-05-2019 but it automatically ends at 31-Oct-2019 as there is a future record.

From 01-Nov-2019 the grade of the employee will continue to be Grade "2". Ideally the grade changes should not end on 31-Oct-2019 and it should continue in the next record as well.

Please confirm if this is the expected behavior and Please confirm if it is not possible to continue the changes made in the inserted record, to continue in the next record as well.
