Changes Made To The Workflow BI Notification Are Not Reflecting (Doc ID 2632519.1)

Symptoms

Customized NewHire Workflow notification by adding the Standard Hours field. However the change is not visible on the actual workflow notification once we enter the transaction. When the BI report is run with the appropriate transaction id, we can see the change. Why is the change not applied to the Workflow notification?
