Office 365 : Old Appointments are Deleted and Cancel Notifications Sent to Apointment Participants from Outlook (Doc ID 2636331.1)

Symptoms

Appointments older than 30 days are being Deleted from Outlook and as a result a cancellation emails  sent out by Outlook to the participants of the appointment .

This will happen to any such Appointment that was originated in Engagement Cloud and synced to Outlook.

This can also happen when user uses a new Saved search for Appointments . The Sync will bring down a new set of appointments from Sales Cloud and will delete the other appointments synced earlier to Outlook from Sales Cloud .
