Salesforce1 Mobile Application Compatibility (Spring '20 Release)

Hello Oracle CPQ Cloud Customer,

This message applies to CPQ integrations using Salesforce. The impact outlined below is specific to use of the Salesforce1 Mobile Application. If your
organization does not integrate CPQ with Salesforce or does not use the Salesforce1 Mobile App, please disregard this message.

The CPQ team has been made aware of certain issues with the CPQ integration using the Salesforce1 Mobile application due to upcoming changes in
Salesforce version Spring '20.

Summary: Salesforce has introduced changes in version Spring '20 that may render the Salesforce1 Mobile App incompatible with certain core CPQ
functionality in JET UI. This new functionality restricts certain pop up functionality to be launched from the Salesforce1 mobile application.

The CPQ team has observed the Salesforce1 Mobile App (on Spring '20 / app version 222.041) to be incompatible with the following functionality:

    - Return to Opportunity
    - Generate Proposal
    - Download File Attachment (in embedded mode)

Review: If your organization uses the Salesforce1 mobile application for CPQ and feel the above can have an impact, please perform end to end testing
of your quoting process on a Sandbox environment. If functionality is impaired, the following options are available to potentially mitigate the problem:

    1. Use of a supported mobile browser
    2. Use of the CPQ to Salesforce Lightning adapter (Doc ID 2432470.1)

Important: This issue is due to acknowledged changes in the Salesforce Spring '20 release. Note that other functionality may be impacted in addition to
the observations listed above. Any workaround requires adequate testing from users to ensure feasibility. While the CPQ Team will assess the changes
and evaluate mitigation opportunities, any requests for assistance with this issue should be directed to Salesforce Support.
