Report Resource Quota Based On Account Owner Instead Of Opportunity Owner

Customer requirement
---------------------------
Customer has a requirement for a quota report based on account ownership.
The report requirement is for validation on quotas for managed accounts.

Customer observed that as soon as they add facts from resource quota it defaults to the opportunity owner; but customer can have cases where Account owner might be different.

 

In the report they want to include the Account Owner, Customer, Opportunity Line Revenue, Resource Quota.

For this they created a cross SA analysis on Sales - CRM Customer Overview and Sales - CRM Quota Management.

But what they are observing is the Resource Quota Facts are pulling in values based on the Opportunity Owner and not on the Account Owner.
