Unable to Delete a Code Value Used in a Form or Workflow (Doc ID 2638476.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 13, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Primavera Cloud Service - Version 19.11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

We are trying to delete some Code Values, but we received an error message from the system claiming we cannot delete a Code Value that is used in a form (PRM‑006005009).

However, none of those Values is being used by any Form. The Codes are in fact used by the Forms, but not the Value itself. Our belief is that the issue is that the Code is referred in a Workflow, assigned to a Automatic Decision or being updated during the instance, and thus the system prevent us to delete any of the Code Values, just add new ones. Even if the Value itself is not “used” at all by the Workflow or any where else in Primavera Cloud.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Try to Delete a Code Value that is not being used in Forms, but the Code Itself is being used with other Values.
