Symptoms



Release 20A: Error about cashier session for multiple cashiers


Expected:
Cashier user  with a cashier ID should be able to take cash payments.

Actual:
When selecting Cash payment option, user receives an error stating user cannot open a cashier session for multiple cashiers.



ERROR
-----------------------
You can't open a cashier session for multiple cashiers. You have been assigned multiple cashier IDs. Ask to be assigned only one cashier ID.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in to PSCR as a user who has a cashier ID.
2. Find a permit application that has fees due.
3. Click the icon/button to pay the fees.
4. Select Cash payment option.
5. Get error saying you can't do this because of multiple cashier IDs.
6. Click OK and exit out of the payment screen.
7. Go to the Cashier Session page.
8. Get error saying you've been assigned multiple cashier IDs.

BUSINESS IMPACT

Due to this issue, users cannot accept cash payments
