Last updated on MARCH 16, 2020

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 19.3 version, Core Product Functionality

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
During import of "Items and Prepacks" to WMS, Users are trying to manually modifying the XML data by changing value of parameter 'host_aware_item-flg' to FALSE from TRUE.

<host_aware_item_flg> FALSE </host_aware_item_flg>

Find no errors when sending the XML file to WMS. However, when going into the WMS UI interface an check on the data - Item details - parameter  'host_aware_item_flg' is found to be TRUE (the original value prior to manually modifying the XML file).

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Expect the value set in the XML file to be reflected in the Item details.

STEPS
---------

1, Run the API  https://xxx.xxx.ocs.oraclecloud.com/env_name/wms/api/init_stage_interface/ using post man.
2. Pass the attached test xml file with Host Aware field set to FALSE:

<host_aware_item_flg> FALSE </host_aware_item_flg>

3. Notice that the Host aware flag is still True after the API is run.
