Open BPM Worklilst Notification and Get Error 'Gateway timeout The proxy server did not receive a timely response from the upstream server' (Doc ID 2640812.1)

Symptoms

A requisition shows as pending approval. When trying to see who it is pending with in BPM Worklist, the page just spins and spins and times out with the following error:


 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:


1.Create a requisition.
2. Submit for approval.
3. Navigate to BPM Work List
4. Select the approve requisition task.
5. Observe  the error.
