Symptoms

Not able to update inventory asset value flag to yes

ERROR

088011-000 (JY01) has the following errors. (EGP-2775298)
Error
The Inventory Asset Value item attribute cannot be updated since on-hand quantity exists or inventory transactions have not been interfaced to Cost Management.

STEPS
-----------------------

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Product Management >Product Information Management(PIM)
2. Manages Item or Browse Items (any)
3. At item level, go to Specifications
4. Inventory Asset Value in there under the Specifications tab. When to change its current value from "No" to "Yes" The the error occurs because there are transactions and on-hand quantities for that product.
