Goal

Understand 'Automatically cancel transfer orders backorders' setup .Created a self-service requisition with 30 quantity in destination inventory organization and the on-hand was 24 in source inventory organization
When the requisition was approved, transfer order#1 was generated. Created Pick wave and when tried to pick confirm it, it showed 24 (instead of 30) as the requested qty. During pick confirm, 24 qty was picked, and there was no indication of that 6 qty cancelled either at the Transfer Order / requisition. The 'Manage Inventory Organization' setup has 'Automatically cancel transfer orders backorders' option checked.

Q1) If the 6 qty was back-ordered, then where to find this cancelled qty transaction/ details? How to know what has been back-ordered?

Q2) At the transfer Order level, the requested qty became 24 after pick confirming, however the requested qty at Requisition still remains 30. What will happen to the open 6 qty at requisition? Why the requisition didn't got updated with new requested qty?
