Start of a Session / Task / Step is Slow when Connecting to an ADW/ATP Database During Execution and Using the ODI Agent (Doc ID 2646793.1)

Last updated on MARCH 10, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator on Marketplace - Version 2.0.2 and later
Oracle Data Integrator - Version 12.2.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Executing any object using the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) agent is very slow, if the repository is located on an Autonomous Database (ADB) /Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP) database. Each step may delay up to 30 seconds to start, causing Load Plan (LP) execution time to increase considerably.

This affects both ODI on Marketplace as well as ODI on-premise, and starting with release ODI 12.2.1.4.0.
