Last updated on JANUARY 30, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Fusion Product Development Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.10.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Fusion Product Hub version 19D
When attempting to import change order lines, the following issue occurs:

Issue: When attempting to import change order lines, the template only allows 3 characters for new revision value. (This is out of sync with the revision column in the EGP_ITEM_REVISIONS_B which is 18 characters long)

-- Expected Behavior: user expects that both new revision column and the new_item_revision columns support 18 characters length

 -- Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps.
1. open EGO_CHANGE_LINES_INT (https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/supply-chain-and-manufacturing/19d/oedsc/product-and-catalog-management.html#egochangelinesint-19316)
2. Observe that the item_revision and new_item_revision are different character lengths

-- Business Impact
Users cannot tie back-dated revisions to change orders
