Essbase19c: In Essbase 19.3.0.0.2, Entering Essbase Administrator Password Throws Error: "Specify a value that satisfies the following regular expression: <expression>" (Doc ID 2653046.1)

Symptoms

Issue in Deploying Essbase 19.3.0.0.2 from OCI Market Place following https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/other-databases/essbase/19.3/essad/deploy-oracle-essbase.html

In General Settings, on the Configure Variables page, entering password with special character in Essbase Administrator Password field getting below error:

 

Specify a value that satisfies the following regular expression: ^(?:[a-zA-Z0-9+/]{4})*(?:|(?:[a-zA-Z0-9+/]{3}=)|(?:[a-zA-Z0-9+/]{2}==)|(?:[a-zA-Z0-9+/]{1}===))$

 

Changes

From  Essbase 19.3.0.0.2 version onwards, KMS encryption for sensitive input values mandatory

As per https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/other-databases/essbase/19.3/essad/encrypt-values-using-kms.html, the following sensitive fields in the Stack listing now need to be encrypted using the KMS Vault:
Essbase admin password
IDCS Client Secret
Database system administrator password
