BTF: error when trying to set CustomerId field

When a lead is qualified, we have a groovy script which is using create account method from the accounts web service and is setting the CustomerId field with the new party id we just created.
This is failing with a PPR error.
We have an alternate solution but we need to know when this issue will be resolved.
