Oracle Fusion Benefits Cloud Service - Version 11.13.19.10.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
We have dependent designations configured for voluntary spouse life plans and when we the election is suspended because of EOI requirements (benefit coverage certifications) the interim plan/coverage does not have the dependents designated and when eventually the additional coverage requested in approved the dependent designations are not carried.
Benefit certifications - meaning if employees elect above a certain amount the elections gets suspended and an interim is provided based on rules configured
We have also dependent designation configured (not beneficiary) which also has suspension rules set up so that if they don't designate a dependent the election gets suspended
When an employee elects an amount which requires certification and also designates a dependent, the suspended plan/coverage shows the designated dependent but the interim plan does not.
The issue is with suspended elections and dependent designations, when there is a suspended election and interim, the interim row does not have the dependent designated carried forward from suspended row, because employees only can pick dependents on suspended elections (before it gets suspended).
