In A Document Type BP A User Without "Add General Comments" Permission is Able to Add Comments to the Record During Creation. (Doc ID 2656380.1)

Symptoms

When creating a new Business Process (BP) record, a user that does not have the "Add General Comments" permission is able to add comments to the record during creation.


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

If the user permissions do not include "Add General Comments" for a specific business process, then it was expected that the user without this permission should not be able to Add Comments to a BP record.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into Unifier environment.
  2. Navigate to Project/Shell where the issue has been observed > User mode > BP upper node > Business Process > Click "+Create" > Comments tab > Note that the user can check or un-check "Hide".
  3. User is able to un-check "Hide" and Post new comments here.
  4. From same shell, Admin Mode > User Administration > Users > Find and Open the user that was logged in above > Permissions tab > User Mode Access > Business Process upper node > Business Process > "Add General Comments" is unchecked, so it was thought that the user should not have permissions to have added comments.
