Symptoms

When attempting to update ItemText2401 attribute for ProfileItem using HDL load,
the following error occurs.

ERROR

Profile items data cannot be saved. Delete duplicate attributes or contact your administrator.

oracle.jbo.RowValException: JBO-HRT:::HRT_MNGE_DUPLICATE_ITEM: HRT-975071Profile items data cannot be saved. Delete duplicate attributes or contact your administrator.Some of the attributes were duplicated for the column PROFILE_ID with PROFILE_ITEM_ID and CONTENT_ITEM_ID . One or more of the following attributes were duplicated: ITEM_TEXT240_1 Not Applicable123, QUALIFIER_ID1 , QUALIFIER_ID2 , DATE_FROM , DATE_TO . Ignore attributes with no values. You or your administrator must delete duplicate rows and try again. at oracle.apps.hcm.profiles.core.protectedModel.entity.ProfileItemEOImpl.throwRowValException(ProfileItemEOImpl.java:6236) at


The same error is in UI as well:

"Profile items data cannot be saved. Delete duplicate attributes or contact your administrator.
Some of the attributes were duplicate for the column PROFILE_ID 300000yyyy with PROFILE_ITEM_ID 300000xxx and CONTENT_ITEM_ID NULL. One or more of the following attributes were duplicated: ITEM_TEXT240_1 Not Applicable123, QUALIFIER_ID1 null, QUALIFIER_ID2 null, DATE_FROM 2020-04-01, DATE_TO null. Ignore attributes with no value. You or your administrator must delete duplicate rows and try again"
