Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

This applies to the customers who have enabled the ‘Prohibit User Self-Approval’ option at the workflow task or participant level in Oracle BPM in update 20A. This option allows customers to skip the task creator or task owner from the approvals process.
If customers enabled the 'Prohibit User Self-Approval' option in 20A, they will find that after update to 20B, the selection is not carried forward and the option is disabled by default.
This problem is applicable only for those customers who have the update cycle for 20B in the month of May and June (Cohort A and Cohort B) and not applicable for the customers updating to 20B in the month of July (Cohort C).
