Project Scheduled Services Shows a "Failed" Status - Despite the Error Log Not Showing Any Errors (Doc ID 2662735.1)

The Project Scheduled Services shows a "Failed" status - despite the error log not showing any errors.  The Summarize Log shows only the following:

Problem summarizing Project(s)

Please refer to P6 Server Side Log for more information.


The log should provide the error that caused the Summarization to fail.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to P6Web.
  2. Submit a project for Summarization.
  3. Observe in Administration > Scheduled Services > Project that the job failed.
  4. Observe the reported message in the log.
