Symptoms

When attempting to import P6 XML project, the following error occurs.

ERROR

"Import failed to complete successfully due to a business rules conflict. Name and code must be unique per WBS level. Enter a unique value (PRM-009005001)"

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log into OPC.
  2. Import P6 XML.
  3. Import will fail with error.
