Facet Navigation Hierarchy Not Displaying More than Three Levels of Depth (Doc ID 2663292.1)

Symptoms

The navigation facet hierarchy is appears to be showing no more than three levels of depth. 

For example, if one uses facets for a price list with numbers containing up to 6 digits, the facets only show 100K, 10K, and 1K increments (100 and 10 appear to be excluded.)
