Why are users unable to Access CX Sales for Office 365 Add-in From the Side Panel Using Chrome Browser (Doc ID 2664362.1)

Symptoms

After Google's Chrome update in July 2020 (Chrome version 84) , Office 365 Add-in users get the below error on side panel when trying to use the Office 365 side panel in Outlook Web Access mode in Google Chrome browser.
"Add-in Error Something went wrong and we couldn't start this add-in. Please try again later or contact your system administrator. "
"Add-in Error This add-in may not load properly, but you can still try to start it."

- This issue does not affect the Outlook Desktop client users
- This issue does not affect browsers other than Google Chrome

 

    

 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
====================
1. Goto Outlook.com in Chrome browser and login tio Inbox .
2. From an Email or an Appointment , Launch Office 365 Add-in
3. The user gets a series of errors with the below error messages on the side panel
"Add-in Error Something went wrong and we couldn't start this add-in. Please try again later or contact your system administrator. "
"Add-in Error This add-in may not load properly, but you can still try to start it."
