Symptoms

An FR report contains a bar chart. The chart's Value Axis (Y and X) minimum starting range sometimes starts with a different value instead of 0 (zero) depending on a User Point of View (POV) member selection.

For example, a POV dimension called Market where selecting top parent Market (level 3), displays 0 as the minimum. Next, selecting member "West" (level 2) displays 0 as the minimum. Again, selecting a different member "California"

(level 1), displays value of "1,050" as the minimum. Last, selecting member "San Francisco" (level 0), the minimum is back to 0.

This behavior can be seen in both chart's primary and secondary axis.

The desire is to always have the chart's Value Axis minimum range start at 0 (zero) regardless of POV member selection.

  1. Go to Chart Properties->Format Chart
  2. Select Axes tab
  3. Under Primary Axis and/or Secondary Axis, set below Custom Range settings.
Note: Below chart axis settings are unsuccessful in correcting the issue.
