Last updated on JUNE 26, 2020

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier Cloud Service - Version 19.1 and later
Primavera Unifier - Version 9.7 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

When trying to search for a file in the Document Manager node of Unifier it is not possible to search for when a Standard Data Element is added to the Find log fields in the Document Manager (DM) design.

No results are returned and a NullPointerException will be thrown on the back end that would be in the log files as something similar to the following:

Exception occurred while doing full search [root] java.lang.NullPointerException at
com.skire.dm.search.requests.Search.buildPropertySearchQuery(Search.java:848)
at com.skire.dm.search.requests.Search.doFullSearch(Search.java:518)

Examples of some of the Standard Data Elements that will throw the error: company_companyname, company_budget_restriction, Display Element, company_hide_profile, iswhite, maxfilesize, company_virusscan_alert

These standard elements will trigger the error if they are added to find log in DM design.

Is it possible to have search work when a Standard Data Element is added to the Find Log fields in the DM design?
