Unable to Create a Snapshot or Restore a BP From a Previous Version (Doc ID 2667236.1)

Symptoms

 On : Unifier Any version that supports snapshot and restore functionality

Users are unable to create a snapshot of a Business Process (BP) to be used to restore it to previous version, or restore a BP from a snapshot. When attempting to create the snapshot, new button is grayed out. When attempting to restore from a snapshot, user receives the error Application error : Permission denied.

STEPS
-----------------------

To Attempt to Create the Snapshot:

  1. From within Unifier, navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > uDesigner > Business Process
  2. Open the BP and change the status to draft if necessary
  3. Click on File
  4. Select Snapshot
  5. Notice New is grayed out

To Attempt to Restore a BP from previous version

  1. From within Unifier, navigate to Company Workspace > Admin Mode > uDesigner > Business Process
  2. Open the BP and change the status to draft if necessary
  3. Click on Edit menu and select Restore
  4. Choose the appropriate option
  5. Choose yes in the popup message
  6. Receive the reported error.
