Symptoms

Not able to create or edit any Attachment Categories for Product Management getting the following error

ERROR
-----------------------
A connection to the server has failed


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1.Go to Setup and Maintenance ->Manage Attachment Categories for Product Management
2.Create a new attachment category
3. Save and Close
4. Enter the same category name again and Save and Close
5. it throws this error after sometime
