UPDATE PROVISIONAL COMPLETIONS OPTION IN THE COST PROFILE THAT IS ALREADY USED IN COST ACCOUNTING (Doc ID 2672942.1)

Customer requires to update the Provisional Completions in Cost profiles: 'Value at work order close' from 'Value at Perpetual Average Cost'.
As transactions has already performed using this cost profile the value can not be updated. If new cost profile is created can not be assigned to the Item/Cost Org/Cost Book Combination.
Even creating new Cost book won't work as user can not reassign to the same Ledger

a. Please confirm which release this function will be available
b. What is the alternate Solution to update/use Provisional Completions -What is the best Soln to update Provisional Completions option in Existing Cost Profile for the existing item though it would apply to new work orders?
