Clicking View Data on a BICC Model Causing "ODI-20007: Cannot Display Table's Data" (Doc ID 2675362.1)

Symptoms

The following error is encountered when using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) on Marketplace, and attempting to view data on a Model after reverse engineering from Business Intelligence Competency Center (BICC):

java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Driver class name must not be empty
  at oracle.odi.core.datasource.provider.AbstractDataSourceProvider.configure(AbstractDataSourceProvider.java:110)
