Symptoms

Account DCL field on all the OOTB and Custom object pages show Inactive or Deleted records.

When user tries to select and add these records, it gives an error.


ERROR
-----------------------
Failed to validate all rows in a transaction.

The value of the attribute {ATTRIBUTE_NAME} is not valid.

The value of the attribute AccountID is not valid.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Service Request > open any record > go to Account DCL field > Search for an account > try to select and add to the Service Request

2. Opportunities > Edit any opportunity > go to Account DCL field > search for an account > try to select and add to the opportunity
