Understand how to configure and troubleshoot approvals for Performance and Development Goal transactions submitted from the Responsive UI.
As per the Support Policies, assisting customers and consultants with the configuration of a CUSTOM approval rule and troubleshooting issues and errors caused by CUSTOM approval rules is out of the scope of Oracle Support. Oracle Support is entitled to assist customers with specific errors / issues / technical questions related to the seeded approval rules delivered by Oracle out-of-the-box. If a consultancy service is needed to assist you with the configuration/debugging of your custom approval rules, you can contact the Oracle Consulting team or one of our Partners and check their service offerings. If you have custom approval rules, ensure that these are properly documented and that there is an internal support process associated with them. While Oracle Support will work with customers and consultants to diagnose and resolve issues, if it is determined that the problem is caused by a custom approval rule, the client and his consultants who created the custom approval rules will be responsible for resolving it.
If you are a Consultant who creates Service Requests on behalf of a customer, you should be aware that you are directly responsible to assist the customer with the configuration of custom approval rules and the troubleshooting of all issues and errors caused by custom approval rules, as this is considered a consultancy service and it's out of the scope of Oracle Support. If you need any help, please collaborate with a senior consultant.
