'Event Code: EEQEJ-1276-E Java heap space' Error When Attempting to Download Exported XML Projects (Doc ID 2680168.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to download project XML export files by clicking the 'Download' link in the Job Services list, the following error occurs.

Event Code: EEQEJ-1276-E
Message: Error executing query. Error: Java heap space

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps.

  1. Login to P6.
  2. Export a project or group of projects as an XML file.
  3. When the export process finishes successfully, navigate to the Job Services list.
  4. Click the Download link for the completed export job.
  5. View reported error.
