EPM Cloud: "Unable To Process Request" Error Running PDF FR Reports/Books in Chrome (Doc ID 2681275.1)

Symptoms

Accessing EPM Cloud environment using supported Chrome browser on a workstation with a supported PDF reader installed.

Running FR Report or Book as PDF.  Report/Book runs. Display shows the POV bar across the top with the PDF file name and an "Open" button in the center of the display similar to the screenshot shown below. Selecting "Open" results in the message "Unable to Process Request"
