How To Redirect For Multiple DCS Sites (Doc ID 2682552.1)

When performing certain actions in a Digital Customer Service application, such as self-registration, users are normally redirected to the Oracle Engagement Cloud Dashboard. To facilitate an easier path for these users, Oracle recommends that you use a feature that was introduced from Fusion Apps to support User Categories. By defining a user category for DCS users, and specifying a Next URL associated with that user category, the Next URL will be accessed after the user resets their password.
In cases where a customer has multiple DCS applications, such as when they have multiple business units (MBU), and they have a distinct DCS app for each business unit, an additional approach needs to be done to direct the control back to the correct DCS application. This document describes the mechanism by which users can be returned to the DCS application from which they submitted the self-registration request.
