Goal

We have an overpayment situation with an employee. The employee has paid the overpayment back, so we need to reverse the payment out of the payroll. How do I refund the student loan deduction that was taken in error?
The employees earnings should have been less than the plan 1 earnings threshold, but due to the overpayment, a student loan deduction was made. We need to refund this to the employee and correct the YTD figures for reporting to HMRC.
