Users Are Unable to Add Any Special Characters for Phone Number (Doc ID 2685431.1)

Symptoms

Users are unable to add any special characters in the phone field in both supplier UI and supplier data load.

Error:
Error: The format is incorrect. Please enter the valid phone number.

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Load the item *dat file with phone number Ex: contact_phone xxx-xxx-xxx xxx-xxx.
  2. Open RMS UI and go to supplier screen and see that the error is reported.
  3. Try to create a new supplier in UI and the same error is reported while adding the phone number in the above mentioned format.
