Last updated on JULY 06, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure - Database Service - Version N/A to N/A [Release 1.0]
Linux x86-64

Goal

We can see lot of space utilization for the subdirectories under the /u02/nid_bits directory in an OCI DBCS VM (LVM based deployment)

root@host nid_bits]# pwd
/u02/nid_bits

[root@host nid_bits]# du -h /u02/
{ommitted}
2.9G /u02/nid_bits/EE_US7ASCII
2.9G /u02/nid_bits/SE_US7ASCII
3.2G /u02/nid_bits/SE_AL32UTF8
3.2G /u02/nid_bits/EE_AL32UTF8
12G /u02/nid_bits

Can we delete these sub-directories?
