Fusion EXP: Account Number Resets to Default Account Number After Saving Expense Item (Doc ID 2688027.1)

Symptoms

The account number on an expense item is resetting back to the default account. It is not allowing to change the default account.
This is happening even after setting the profile option EXM_ALLOW_FULL_ACCT_OVERRID to Yes.
