Goal
A confidential application has been created in IDCS that issues OAuth tokens to a custom Node JS application that searches for images in the documents repository within Oracle Content and Experience.
The application works fine and issues tokens correctly but the documents search API cannot find any file as if the application had no access to any document. Currently the application that searches for images and displays them is using Basic auth, so it is not secure. Besides, whenever the user pass expires, the app credentials have to be updated so it continues working. This is why it is needed to change the authentication to a confidential application OAuth issuing token so there is no issue with password expiration policies.
