Cannot use run type variable in rounding options available for general ledger allocations. (Doc ID 2688669.1)

On : version, Setup, Rapid Impl and Security

When attempting to a variable "Decimal Place",
the following error occurs.

Cannot Perform Allocation. Essbase Error(1260046): Unknown Member DecimalPlace used in query"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to calculation manager >> variables manager
2. Create a variable with name Decimal place to be used as a run time variable.
3. Add the same to rule in Rounding digits.
4. Validation of the rule fails with above error.
